2023 News: APA, NASW, NGS, CMS. January 1, 2023 the AMA deleted CPT codes 99354 and 99355—Prolonged Services. These codes were previously added to Psychotherapy 90837, and Family/Couples Therapy 90847. Behavioral Health Providers nationwide were displeased about this news.
